Architects, Designers, Planners and Consultants
At Cree we believe that on the path towards carbon-neutral building design we need to embrace renewable materials, question conventional processes and be advocates for codes and standards in this respect.
Our upcoming webinar series is geared towards conveying our lessons learned in these areas while using a unique and resource-effective wood-concrete hybrid construction system. We would like to share with you what we have learned from completed projects and the projects we are currently working on in Europe and around the world, and invite you to join us in walking the talk...
In our first webinar you will be given an overview of mega trends and challenges in the construction industry and how the sector could morph from being part of the problem to becoming part of the solution. You will learn about how Cree has approached various aspects by crafting a resource-effective timber-hybrid building system and corresponding processes, allowing you to build the core and shell more speedily and with high quality and cost certainty.
We will be focusing on life-cycle thinking, modular construction and prefabrication while providing you with an overview of the LifeCycle Design process and our version of BIM. We will be showcasing the LifeCycle Tower System and in particular giving you an overview of Cree’s collaborative approach to designing for prefab and assembly and delivering projects that go beyond the conventional.
Cree’s LCT system is a standardised wood-hybrid skeleton construction system designed to integrate building system functions and host a variety of building programs. The LCT system idea is flexible and adaptable to allow for a wide variety of building envelope options with regard to aesthetics and performance.
The webinar audience will get to know some of the prominent benchmark projects that were constructed based on the Cree thinking.
By the end of this webinar we will have given you an overview of how Cree can support your mass timber projects with its knowledge and experience of technology and processes. We will also share with you some resources that will tell you more about Cree.
